CORAM

: S.M. MODAK, J.

DATE : 7 st JULY, 2021.

Hearing was conducted through Video Conferencing and the learned Counsel agreed that the audio and visual quality was proper.

Read the letter dated 19/06/2021. The first appellate court was directed to decide the appeal within a period of one year from 27th February, 2020. It seems that the first appellate court has made efforts to comply with the said time limit, but for the reasons stated in the application, the appeal could not be finally disposed of. Even though, there is a prayer for two months' extension, considering the pandemic situation, four months' time is granted for disposal of the appeal finally from today.

Registry to inform the first appellate court accordingly.
