By this petition, the petitioner seeks a direction restraining the respondents from forcibly dispossessing him and his family members from house property bearing No.17, Ward No.2, City Survey No.1713, Mouza - Kondhali.

According to the petitioner, though the land of the petitioner is not acquired by the respondents, the respondent Nos.1 to 4 were illegally trying to dispossess the petitioner and his family members from the said land.

Separate affidavit-in-reply has been filed on behalf of the respondent Nos.2 and 3. It is stated in the affidavit-in-reply that the land of the petitioner is not required by the respondents at this stage. It is stated that the respondents would not dispossess the petitioner .....2/-

In view of the statement made on behalf of the respondents, the grievance of the petitioner would not survive.

The writ petition is, therefore, disposed of with no order as to costs.
