By this petition, the petitioner seeks directions to the respondent no.3-Chief Officer, Municipal Council, Chandur Bazar to decide the claim of the petitioner for promotion to the post of 'Administrative Officer or Education Inspector'.

Considering the nature of claim, we deem it appropriate to direct the respondent no.3-Municipal Council to treat the petition of the petitioner as representation and decide the same within a period of 12 weeks from the date of production of copy of this order. 4.

With these directions the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
