By the present petition under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner is challenging the order passed by the authority under Section 56(1), (A) and (B) of the Maharashtra Police Act, 1951. The petitioner has alternative statutory remedy by way of an appeal under Section 16 of the said Act.
