: B.P. DHARMADHIKARI & KUM. I.K. JAIN, JJ.

DATED : JUNE 9, 2016.

Nobody appears for the petitioner. Learned Assistant Government Pleader Shri C.N. Adgokar for respondent Nos.3 and 4, has invited our attention to prayer clauses. It appears that the petition came to be filed in the wake of Notification dated 25.2.2005 declaring elections for Grampanchayat. The tenure of elected members is only of five years. This Court did not grant any interim relief and as such that cause of action does not survive now. The prayer which is main prayer is too general in nature, but in connection with 2005 elections.

In this situation, leaving all contentions open and with liberty to the petitioner to approach again in .....2/-
