DATE : May 03, 2016 The claimant seeks permission to withdraw the amount of compensation deposited by the appellant. In the application it is stated that almost the entire land of the claimant has been acquired and hence permission deserves to be granted to withdraw the amount of compensation. Perused the judgment of the Reference Court. The claimant is permitted to withdraw an amount of Rs.20,00,000/- on furnishing undertaking that in case the appeal is allowed, the said amount shall be repaid with interest at such rate the Court may direct. Further, an amount of Rs.20,00,000/- is permitted to be withdrawn on furnishing solvent surety/security to the satisfaction of the Registrar (Judicial).
