This is an application for condonation of delay in preferring an appeal. Delay is of 396 days.

The appeal is sought to be filed by the claimants whose petition under Section 166 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 was partly granted by learned Member of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Amravati on 25.11.2016.

In pursuance to Notices issued on 16.7.2018, nonapplicant Nos.1 and 2 are appearing through their Advocate Shri A.H. Lohiya. Though the insurance company is served, nobody is appearing on its behalf.

Learned counsel for the applicants is absent. 5.
The present application is opposed by learned counsel Shri A.H. Lohiya for non-applicant Nos.1 and 2. 6.

Hence, for the reasons stated in the application, the application is allowed. Delay in lodging the appeal is hereby condoned. Office to register the first appeal. The civil application stands disposed of accordingly.
