This is an application for condonation of delay in preferring an appeal. The appeal is directed against judgment and order of conviction convicting the appellant for offence punishable under Section 6 read with Section 5(n) of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 and is directed to suffer rigorous imprisonment for 10 years.

Learned counsel Shri M.S. Wakil for the applicant submits that the applicant is in jail. He invites my attention to affidavit filed by him pointing out the reasons resulting into the delay in preferring the appeal.
