The learned Assistant Government Pleader has placed on record the communication dated 30th May, 2015 addressed by the Deputy Secretary, State of Maharashtra to the Commissioner for Fisheries, State of Maharashtra. Perusal of the said communication would reveal that the stay which was granted by the State Government on 16th July 2014, to the new policy insofar as fishing rights is concerned, has been vacated by the State Government. Perusal of the said communication further reveals that the State Government has directed the Commissioner of Fisheries to implement the new scheme with effect from the said date.

2 10.06.pil.20.10. The said communication is taken on record and marked "X" for identification's sake.

Mr. P.C.Madkholkar, learned counsel for petitioners submits that in view of the said decision by the State Government, the instant petition has served its purpose, for the present. He however submits that the petitioners be given liberty to raise challenge to the new policy if the petitioners find out any illegalities therein.

P.I.L. is therefore disposed of with liberty as prayed for.
