DATE : 11.4.2016 This Court by the order dated 9th July, 2015 directed the Special Court to complete the trial within six months. By the order dated 18th February, 2016 further time of three months was granted to complete the trial.

The accused has filed this application praying that the time to dispose of the trial be further extended. In my view, the request at the behest of accused cannot be entertained and if at all the Special Court is unable to complete the trial within stipulated time, the request has to come from it.

The learned advocate for the applicant/accused, on
