Heard Shri R.D. Dhande, learned Counsel (appointed) for the Petitioner and Shri T.A. Mirza, learned A.P.P. for respondents.

Grievance made in the year 2013 about delay in taking decision on parole application, now only survives. Shri Dhande, learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that if the applications are not decided within time, the purpose for which parole is sought, is defeated and provisions of law are also therefore, defeated.

Shri Mirza, learned A.P.P. submits that in present matter, the authorities have filed affidavit and

We have perused the affidavit. The said affidavit has been filed on 03.08.2013 and matter has remained pending thereafter. The present petitioner has not made any grievance thereafter.

In this situation, keeping general grievance open in present facts we dispose of the matter as infructuous. No costs.

Fees payable to the counsel appointed for the petitioner is quantified at Rs. 1500/-.
