For the reasons stated in the application, the time to decide the caste claim of the original petitioner is extended by six months. Since it is stated on behalf of the applicant-committee that the papers pertaining to the caste claim of the original petitioner are not traceable, the original petitioner should remain present before the scrutiny committee on 23.4.2018, so that he may be able to produce the necessary documents that are required by the committee for an early decision in the caste claim of the petitioner.

The civil application is allowed in the aforesaid terms and disposed of.
