By this writ petition, the petitioner challenges the transfer order dated 29.06.2013 transferring the petitioner from the school at Asoli, District Gondia to the school at Mohadi, District Bhandara.

We find that the petition suffers from laches. Though the impugned order is dated 29.06.2013, the petition is filed on 15.04.2016. The inordinate delay in challenging the transfer order is not explained, much less, satisfactorily. By the writ petition, the petitioner is impliedly challenging the transfer order and seeking a direction against the respondents to permit the petitioner to re-join the school at Asoli in District Gondia from where he was transferred. The relief sought by the petitioner cannot be granted in the aforesaid set of facts.

The writ petition is, therefore, dismissed with no order as to costs.
