With the assistance of learned counsel for respondent nos. 1 to 3 we have perused the contents of writ petition and documents filed along with it. Order dated 16.02.2000 passed by the Central Administrative Tribunal dismissing the original application filed by the petitioner is under challenge. The petitioner had filed the aforesaid original application seeking relief that he be granted promotion on the post of Chief Pharmacist Grade II from the date said promotion was granted to respondent nos. 4 and 5. Ms. Tanna, learned counsel for respondent nos. 1 to 3 had produced Office Order dated 01.11.2004 in which it has been stated that the petitioner has been granted promotion with retrospective effect from 10.05.1998 on proforma basis. It is also stated that the petitioner was

0501wp3966.01 promoted as Chief Pharmacist and eligible for proforma seniority and consequential benefit with effect from 11.11.1999. Copy of the Office Order dated 01.11.2004 is taken on record and marked 'X' for identification. It is therefore submitted that in view of aforesaid Office Order, the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed. In view of aforesaid statement and contents of Office Order dated 01.11.2004 the writ petition is disposed of in view of the relief granted to the petitioner by said Office Order. There would be no order as to costs.
