DATE : December 07, 2022 When the writ petition was filed the petitioners had sought to challenge an advertisement dated 22/10/2021 and had prayed for conducting a fresh recruitment process. It is seen that during pendency of the proceedings the respondent No.5 has published a select list by which various candidates from the State of Maharashtra have been selected. It would therefore now be necessary for the petitioners to challenge their nonselection by invoking appropriate remedy. Hence with liberty to the petitioners to raise appropriate challenge and seek their appointment on the post of Security Guard, the writ petition is disposed of. The points raised are kept open.
