With consent the petition is heard forthwith since the challenge is to an interim order dated 19.01.2022 rendered by the Divisional Commissioner whereby stay to the order of the Additional Collector is refused and the prayer for releasing the vehicle subject to condition, is not considered.

I need not deal with the contentions on merit. I am satisfied that considering that the vehicle is seized since long, it would be appropriate if the Commissioner is directed to decide the pending Rev. Appeal 179/MNL-37/201 as

wp2295.22.O.odt early as possible and in any event within fifteen days from the appearance of the petitioner.

The petitioner shall appear before the Commissioner on 05.05.2022 and shall place on record copy of this order.

No separate notice shall be necessary.

The petition is disposed of.
