The State of Mah., thr.its Secretary, Rural Development Department, Mumbai and ors .......................................................................................................................................................................... OfÏce Notes, OfÏce Memoranda of Coram, appearances, Court orders or directions Court's or Judge's Order and Registrar's orders .......................................................................................................................................................................... Shri N.B.Kalwaghe, Advocate for the Petitioners. Ms N.P.Mehta, Assistant Government Pleader for the Respondent Nos.1 & 2.

Shri B.P.Maldhure, Advocate for the Respondent No.3. CORAM : A.S.CHANDURKAR & URMILA JOSHI-PHALKE, JJ. DATED : 27/7/2022 1.

The petitioners were serving as teachers with Zilla Parishad, Nagpur. They had approached this Court on 31.7.2020 with a grievance pertaining to their transfers. It was the case of the petitioners that having applied for Online Transfers, they were not so considered and on the contrary by communication dated 15.7.2020 the transfer process was stopped on account of Covid-2019. 2.

We find that the issue with regard to transfer is now governed by the transfer policy dated 27.2.2017. The validity of this policy has been upheld. Considering the passage of time, we find that the interests of justice would be served by permitting the petitioners to apply for transfer in accordance with prevailing policy as and when such policy is resolved to be implemented by the Zilla Parishad. If the petitioners make such applications, the same shall be considered in accordance with the prevailing policy.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
