This is an application for condonation of delay in filing a review application.

The applicant has filed the review application on 14/11/2022, seeking review of the judgment and order passed by this Court dated 30/09/2022 in Writ Petition No.4605/2008.

The learned counsel for the applicant submits that there is a delay of about 15 days. It is submitted that the matter is in relation to termination of services of the applicant and therefore, the delay may be condoned.

On the other hand, the learned counsel for the respondent submits that there is a delay of about 153 days. It is submitted that the application is bereft of any reasons and therefore, delay may not be condoned.

There is no dispute that review application was filed on 14/11/2022. However, it appears that though there was a delay of about 15 days in filing the review application, the application for condonation of delay was not filed and the same came to be filed on 03/04/2023. Thus, according to the learned counsel for the applicant there is a delay of about 153 days. However, considering the overall facts and circumstances & as the matter is in relation to termination of services of the applicant, I am inclined to condone the delay. Hence, the delay in filing the review application is condoned. The civil application is allowed and disposed of accordingly. No order as to costs.
