Though the application filed by the petitioners seeking disqualification of the member of the Municipal Council, Pulgaon was closed for orders by the Collector, Wardha on 09/02/2016, the order is not passed on the said application, till date. In the circumstances of the case and in view of the Maharashtra Local Authority Members' Disqualification Act, 1986 and the Rules, we dispose of the writ petition by directing the Collector, Wardha to pass an order on the application of the the petitioners within a period of three weeks.

Order accordingly. No costs.
