CORAM : V.M. DESHPANDE AND AMIT B. BORKAR, JJ. DATED : JULY 14, 2021 By this writ petition, the petitioner is praying for parole on the ground that his mother is ill. Prayer of petitioner to release him is objected by the authority by filing reply. Undisputedly, earlier when petitioner was released on parole, firstly in the year 2011, he surrendered himself but he surrendered after a period of 38 days. The reply also shows that in the year 2012 also, he was released on parole leave. However, he absconded for 1600 days. He was required to be arrested by police authorities and he was brought to the prison. Coupled with this, the impugned order shows that no medical certificate was placed before the authority to show the serious illness of the mother.

For these reasons, we reject this writ petition. The writ petition is dismissed.
