The applicant vide notice dated 27.09.2022 issued notices for appointment of Arbitrator in respect of claim raised by the applicant for Rs.1,23,02,370/- towards the work done by him as regards biometric survey of total 1210 beneficiaries and preparation of DPR's for total 1210 beneficiaries. Since the non-applicant failed to appoint the Arbitrator, the present application came to be filed under Section 11 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 for appointment of the Arbitrator.

According to the learned counsel for the respondentMunicipal Council, Ralegaon, prayed for appointment of the Collector, Yavatmal as an Arbitrator to which the applicant has no objection. Accordingly, the Collector is appointed as a sole Arbitrator in the present matter.

The Registry is directed to communicate this order to the Collector.
