The petitioner's contention is that his name shall be considered for the promotional post of Joint Director, Town Planning. The petitioner would submit that he has been promoted as a Deputy Director, Town Planning on 09/06/2022 and according to him he is entitled to be considered for further promotion.

The respondent shall consider the petitioner's candidature for the promotional post in the ensuing vacancy, if otherwise found eligible.
