When we had found that the petitioner has no locus standi to file the writ petition, since the counsel for the petitioner had stated that appropriate steps would be taken by the petitioner for getting the petition registered as a public interest litigation. This Court, therefore, by an order dated 25/08/2015, granted four weeks time to the petitioner to take appropriate steps. The matter was listed before this Court at least on four occasions so as to grant an opportunity to the petitioner to take appropriate steps. The petitioner has not taken any steps for seeking the registration of the writ petition as a public interest litigation. Shri Deshpande, the learned counsel for the petitioner, states that the counsel does not have any instructions from the petitioner and appropriate orders may be passed. In view of the aforesaid, we dismiss the writ petition with no order as to costs.
