Present application is filed by the applicants for condonation of delay in filing the cross-objection. There is a delay of about 5466 days.

For the reasons mentioned in para nos.3 and 4 of the application, there is sufficient cause to condone the delay, however, the delay is inordinate. In view thereof, the delay is condoned, subject to condition that the claimants will not be entitled for any interest for delay period, if amount of compensation is enhanced. Application is allowed. Registry is directed to register cross-objection. In view of the fact that the appeal is already admitted, vide order dated 13.12.2004, Cross-Objection is also admitted.

List the matter for final hearing in the week commencing from 25.07.2022.
