This is an application seeking for suspension of execution of sentence passed in Special Child Case No.22/2018 for the offences punishable under Section 376 (2)(i) of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 5 (m) r/w Section 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012. The applicant is sentenced to undergo life imprisonment for the aforesaid offences along with fine. After hearing at some length, this court has shown its non-inclination to suspend the execution of sentence. At this juncture, learned counsel appearing for appellant seeks for withdrawal. In view of that, application stands disposed since withdrawn.
