ATE : OCTOBER 04 , 2024 Mr.Marathe, learned Assistant Government Pleader, has invited our attention to order passed by Single Judge in Writ Petition No.2504/2022 in the case of Smt.Sheela w/o Mahanrao Bhandarkar and others vs. Homeshwar s/o Rupchandji Rokde and others decided on 13/07/2022 when in the wake of the dispute persisting, a statement was made on behalf of the Counsel representing the respondent Nos.1 and 2 that the body functioning as on today, shall not take any major policy decisions and shall only oversee day to day functioning. 2) We fail to understand as to how this order shall stand as an impediment in the wake of the Education Officer granting approval to the appointment of the petitioners, who are appointed on compassionate ground and for release of their salary.

We expect the Education Officer (Secondary) to take necessary steps within a period of six weeks from today. As such, the writ petition stands disposed off.
