Perused the reply of the prosecution and the case diary.

Although, it is stated that the role of this applicant could be seen through actions of her husband, who had made initially a demand of bribe saying that he would get the work done from his wife, who would process the bills and the main accused no.1-Mangesh Thakare, who would sanction the bills and that there were four co-sharers in the bribe to be paid by the complainant, at the time of the trap, so far as this applicant is concerned, there is no demand made on her behalf. It is also a mystery as to why the bribe amount was prima facie paid to Mangesh Thakare, when, as per the prosecution case, the

aba.221.18 2/2 demand came from the husband of this applicant, who had assured to get the works done from other coaccused. This applicant was admittedly present at the time of the trap, but was not arrested then. The tainted currency notes have been recovered from accused - Mangesh Thakare. Nothing is to be recovered from this applicant.

In the circumstances, I am of the view that this application deserves to be allowed.

Hence, the application is allowed and the interim bail granted by this Court on 03/04/2018 is hereby confirmed on the same conditions with the clarification that the applicant shall continue to attend the OfÏce of the Anti Corruption Bureau, as already directed on 03/04/2018 for a period of one week, which has commenced from 09/04/2018 and also on such other occasions as may be required by the Investigating OfÏcer.

The application is disposed of as such.
