DATE : 08.08.2025 The present petition is filed by the petitioners for setting aside the order dated 18.08.2022 and for a direction to the respondents to consider her claim under the Rehabilitation and Resettlement (R & R) Policy, 2012. During the pendency of the petition, certain directions were given to the respondent No.2- W.C.L. to decide the claim of the petitioner after submission of documents. 2.

It appears that respondent No.2- W.C.L. decided the claim in her favour by its order dated 05.08.2025. Thus, in view of above and in view of the judgment dated 11.03.2025 in Writ Petition No.6049/2023 Smt. Kusum Namdeo Khade Vs. Coal India Ltd. And Ors. of this Court, the impugned order does not survive. Accordingly, the writ petition is allowed.

The impugned order dated 18.08.2022 is hereby quashed and set aside.

Respondent No.2- W.C.L. to grant employment treating the petitioner No.2 as the dependent of petitioner No.1, within a period of eight weeks.
