Vide impugned order dated 29.12.2017 the claim of the petitioner of belonging to Gond Gowari came to be negated. 3.

Mr. Parsodkar, learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submits that the petitioner is not pressing challenge to the order impugned. According to him, in view of the existing policy of the State Government of converting the services of the candidates like the petitioner on supernumerary post, he be granted liberty to approach the State Government/Deputy Director of Education, Nagpur, who can deal with such claim in accordance with the Government Resolutions dated 21.12.2019 and 14.12.2022.

That being so, we dispose of the petition as not pressed. 5.

However, the petitioner's representation dated 29.08.2024 for taking the services on supernumerary post be decided having regard to

912-WP-1973-2018.odt 2 the existing policy of the State Government expeditiously and in any case within a period of three months from today. 6.

Civil Application (W) No.2304/2024 stands disposed of in aforesaid terms.
