This is an application for condonation of delay of 143 days in filing the appeal. Notice was issued on this application on 14.06.2017. The respondent no.1 is served, but none appears on his behalf, while the learned AGP represents respondent Nos. 2 and 3. Heard counsel for the parties.

For the reasons stated in the application, same is allowed and the delay is condoned.

As noted in the office report dated 7.2.2018 due to failure on the part of the appellant to deposit the entire amount of compensation within stipulated period of time, interim stay already stands vacated. JUDGE halwai
