The appellant is convicted for the offence punishable under Section 354-A(1) (i) of the Indian Penal Code and the offence punishable under Sections 8 and 12 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. The maximum punishment is of three years. It has been suspended by the trial Court. The fine is paid before the trial Court.

Criminal Application (APPA) No. 310/2020 The maximum substantive sentence is upto three years. It has already been suspended by the trial Court. The appellant is resident of Tahsil Lakhani, District Bhandara. Hence, the order.

ORDER

The substantive sentence for the offence punishable under Section 354-A(1) (i) of the Indian Penal Code and the offence punishable under Sections 8 and 12 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act is suspended till disposal of the appeal.
