The learned Assistant Government Pleader states that the petitioners have an alternate remedy under the provisions of the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960. It is stated that the petitioner has not availed the said remedy and has approached this Court.

By upholding the preliminary objection raised by the respondents, we decline to entertain the writ petition. The writ petition stands disposed of. The petitioners are free to avail the alternate remedy. No costs.
