The contention of learned counsel appearing for petitioner is that the issue involved in this petition is similar to one in Writ Petition No. 6842/2024 (Anil Shankarrao Bhagat & ors. Vs. The State of Maharashtra & ors.) decided on 02.12.2024, wherein this Court has directed the respondents to examine the entitlement and eligibility of the petitioners to receive the second benefit under the Assured Career Progression Scheme in light of the Government Resolution dated 02.03.2019 and other relevant Government Resolutions. 3.

In view of above, we deem it appropriate to dispose of the petition with the following order:- (I) The respondents are directed to examine the entitlement and eligibility of the petitioners to receive the second benefit under the Assured Career Progression Scheme in light of the Government Resolution dated 02.03.2019 and other relevant Government Resolutions and the decision taken be

2 918 WP 2061.25 communicated to the petitioners within a period of twelve weeks from the date of production of this order. (II) In case if the petitioners are found to be eligible to receive the said benefit, the same shall be released in favour of petitioners within a period of four months from the date of communication of such order.
