Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. A prayer is made for issuance of a direction to respondent Nos. 1 and 2 to sanction and release the differential salary amount payable to the petitioner. An additional prayer is also made. 2.

The petitioner has also raised this issue by issuing a legal notice dated 21.11.2024 to the respondent-authorities; however, the said issue remains undecided by the respondentauthorities. 3.

Considering that the issue can be decided by the respondent-authorities, we direct the respondent Nos.1 and 2 to decide the issue raised in the legal notice dated 21.11.2024 within 10 weeks from today.

The learned counsel for the petitioner undertakes to furnish a copy of this order before the concerned authority within a period of two weeks from today.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed of.
