By this application, the applicant is seeking transfer of Sessions Case No.1/2014 pending before the Additional Sessions Judge, Yavatmal to the Additional Sessions Judge, Akola or Sessions Court, Wardha or any other Court of adjoining district on the ground that the witnesses are having apprehension of endangering their life.

During the submissions it was pointed out to the learned APP that the scheme is implemented in every district for the protection of the witnesses and he was asked to seek instructions about the same.

Today the concerned Police Officer namely PSI Vinit Ghatol of police station Awdhootwadi, Yavatmal is present before the Court who informed the Court that till the elections of parliament, the informant was provided with the protection at the time of election and

30.appln.34.24.odt now they are ready to give the protection to the informant and he will take care of the protection as to the other witnesses also.

In view of the statement, learned Counsel for the applicant seeks permission to withdraw the application.

Permission is granted.

The application is disposed of as withdrawn with directions to the concerned police station to provide appropriate protection to the informant as well as the other witnesses.

The Superintendent of Police, Yavatmal shall ensure the compliance of this order.
