By this Writ Petition, the petitioner has sought a direction to the respondents to absorb the petitioner in any Class-II or Class-III post in the Maharashtra State Legal Services Authority.

It appears that no interim relief was granted in favour of the petitioner and only hearing of the Writ Petition was expedited. Due to the long pendency of the writ petition, the petitioner may not be interested in prosecuting the Writ Petition. It is also most likely that the policy in regard to appointment of field officers must have been changed during the past 15 years.
