A challenge is raised to the order below Exh.11 dated 31.12.2021, granting Rs.8,000/- per month to the respondent-wife and Rs.4,000/- per month to the child of the petitioner, towards interim maintenance, from the date of filing of the application i.e. from 15.01.2020 till the disposal of the case.

The only argument made by the learned counsel for the petitioner is that, if the amount of Rs.8,000/- is reduced, there is every possibility that the respondentwife would come and start staying with the petitioner. I have perused the impugned order.

153wp6389-22.odt After considering the total income of the petitioner and further considering the standard of leaving of the respondent, and the child of the petitioner, I arrived at a conclusion that Rs.8,000/- per month towards interim maintenance to the wife of the petitioner and Rs.4,000/- per month to the child, is appropriate.

The ground on which the challenge is raised is not sufficient to interfere with the impugned order. Thus, I find no merit in the present petition, accordingly, the petition is dismissed.
