It is not in dispute that the brick manufacturing units as of date are not operating. The application for permission filed by them before the Collector, to operate the units, is still pending. The same shall be decided by the Collector after following due procedure of law including the obtaining of No Objection Certificate [NOC] from the Pollution Control Board. 2.

In that view of the matter, the grievance raised in this petition stands redressed. The writ petition is, therefore, disposed of accordingly. The civil application is also disposed of accordingly. No order as to costs.
