By this petition, main relief the petitioner has prayed is that protection shall be granted to the services of the petitioner who was appointed on a post of Peon on 01.07.1999. Interim relief was also sought.

On 19.04.2017, notices were issued and by way of ad interim order it was directed that no coercive steps be taken against the petitioner on the ground of invalidation of his caste claim.

Today, when this writ petition was taken for admission, the learned Assistant Government Pleader Mr. Amit Madiwale, tenders an order dated

wp2359.17.odt 31.12.2019, the copy of which is given to the learned counsel for the petitioner. The said order is marked as 'Exhibit-X' for the purposes of identification. By the said order, the respondent No.3 in pursuance to the Government Resolution dated 21.12.2019 granted the order thereby allowing the petitioner to hold the post temporarily for a period of 11 months. 4.

It is the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner Mr. S.D. Chande that in view of the order dated 31.12.2019, grievance of the petitioner stands redressed and therefore he is not pressing the writ petition. The writ petition is disposed of in view of order dated 31.12.2019 (Exhibit-X). No order as to costs.

CIVIL APPLICATION NO.629 OF 2020 In view of disposal of main petition this application stands disposed of.
