By this criminal writ petition the petitioner challenges the order of the Divisional Commissioner, Amravati dated 24.1.2018 rejecting the parole leave application of the petitioner. We are not inclined to consider the reasons recorded by the Divisional Commissioner for rejecting the parole leave application of the petitioner. At this stage, we are not inclined to pass an order granting the prayer made by the petitioner as the petitioner is seeking parole leave due to the death of his grandmother in February, 2017 and more than 14 months have passed from the death of his grandmother.

Since the object for seeking parole leave is frustrated in this case, the relief sought by the petitioner cannot be granted. Hence, we dismiss the criminal writ petition. Order accordingly. JUDGE JUDGE Gulande
