Having heard for some time, since the interim order has been challenged and since the learned A.G.P. has taken instructions from respondent No.1 that the appeal filed under Section 16(2) of the Maharashtra Village Panchayat Act, 1958 will be decided within six weeks from today, the purpose will be served if respondent No.1 is directed to decide the appeal within the aforesaid period, so that the appeal will be decided on merits and the interim order will merge into final order. 02.

Order accordingly. The petition is disposed of in the above terms.
