In the affidavit dated 23.08.2023 a categorical statement is made that the sale-deed executed on 16.03.2022 has been cancelled in view of compromise decree dated 28.07.2023 and further the respondent Nos.3 to 8 tender unconditional apology.

In that view of the matter, by accepting the unconditional apology tendered by the respondent Nos.3 to 8, the contempt petition is disposed of. The petitioners are permitted to take steps for correction of revenue record, in the light of cancellation of sale-deed.
