DATED : 24-08-2018 This application is taken out for a direction to the management-petitioners to pay basic salary at the rate of Rs.4,400/- per month along with special allowances of Rs.3,564/- to respondent 2 and to further direct the petitioners to pay monthly salary to respondent 2 as per the rate fixed from time to time under the minimum wages.

By order dated 16-4-2013, this Court, while issuing Rule, stayed the judgment and order impugned, by and under which the employer is directed to confer the status of permanency upon respondent 2-employee. By order dated 25-9-2014, the interim order was modified and the petitioners were directed to pay wages of Rs.254/- per day to respondent 2. This order came to be passed considering the minimum wages applicable on

2 caw803.18 the date of the said order.

In the affidavit-in-reply filed on behalf of the employer to the civil application, a statement is made that respondent 2 shall be paid daily minimum wage of Rs.300/- per day in accordance with the notification. 4.

In view of the said undertaking to pay the current minimum wages to respondent 2, civil application needs no further consideration and is disposed of.
