DATE : September 08, 2021 The grievance of the petitioners is that the directions issued in Writ Petition No.7798/2017 granting liberty to the respondents to consider the aspect of petitioners' continuation in service in terms of Clause 3.4 of the Revised Integrated Child Protection Scheme had not been complied.

After notice was issued on the contempt petition, reply has been filed on behalf of the respondent No.1 in which it has been stated that initially the petitioners were engaged on their respective posts for a period of three years and that period had been extended by period of two years on the basis of their performance appraisal reports. It is further stated that there is no provision for extension of engagement beyond the period mentioned in Clause 3.4.

In view of aforesaid statements, we find that the orders passed in the writ petition have been complied with. Needless to state that if the petitioners seek further relief under the said

The Contempt Petition is disposed of.
