Shri A.V. Palshikar, A.G.P. for the respondents. CORAM : SMT.VASANTI A. NAIK AND A.S. CHANDURKAR, JJ.
DATE : JANUARY 8 , 2016.
None appears for the petitioner. Perused the writ petition and documents filed along with it .
The challenge is to the notice dated 31.05.2003 issued to the petitioner seeking to remove him from the post of Chairman, Agriculture Produce Market Committee.
With the passage of time, the relief sought in the writ petition appears to have been rendered infructuous. Consequently, the challenge raised to the provisions of Section 13(1)(A) of the Maharashtra Agriculture Produce Marketting (Regulation) Act, 1963 is rendered academic.
Hence, the writ petition is disposed of with no order as to costs.
