DATED : JUNE 08, 2021 Hearing was conducted through video conferencing and the learned counsel agreed that the audio and visual quality was proper.

Heard learned counsel for rival parties. It is pointed out that after this Court issued notice and granted interim stay of the impugned proceedings, the petitioner - bank and the contesting respondents No.3 to 15 have entered into a compromise and settled the inter-se dispute. A joint compromise pursis dated 03/05/2021 is placed on record. It is stated in the said pursis at para 4 that the respondents No.3 to 15 have agreed to withdraw all the proceedings filed before the respondent No.1 i.e. the Regional Labour Commissioner (Central). The learned Counsel appearing for respondent No.3 - Union submits that the

2 wp 3787-2021.odt individual parties i.e. respondents No.4 to 15 have authorized the respondent No.3 - Union to sign the said joint compromise pursis on their behalf also.

The joint compromise pursis consists of the following prayers.

"(i) Quash the Proceedings No. N-7(03)/2020-ID pending before the respondent No.1 (ii) Quash the proceeding filed by Respondent 4 to 15 before CGIT.

(iii) Quash the Show Cause Notice dated 6.8.2020 issued by Respondent No.1 and (iv) Close the present Writ Petition filed by the Petitioner in the interest of justice."

In view of the above, it is evident that in terms of the joint compromise pursis and the consent terms placed on record, the present writ petition deserves to be allowed. 5.

Accordingly, the petition is allowed in terms of above quoted prayers stated in the joint compromise pursis. No costs. JUDGE MP Deshpande
