CORAM : SMT. VASANTI A. NAIK AND A.I.S. CHEEMA, JJ.

DATED : AUGUST 27, 2015.

Heard.

The only prayer made by the petitioners is a direction to the respondent nos.1 to 4 to release the rehabilitation grant awarded by the Divisional Commissioner, Amravati in favour of the petitioners. Shri Kasat, the learned counsel for the respondent no.3 states, on instructions from the respondent no.3, that the amount due and payable to the petitioners would be deposited before the Land Acquisition Officer, within a period of four months. The purpose of filing the writ petition would stands served, in view of the statement made by the learned counsel for the respondent no.3.

The writ petition is, therefore, disposed of, by accepting the statement made by the learned counsel for the respondent no.3, which would be binding on the respondent no.3 and with a direction to the respondent no.2 to immediately release the amount that would be deposited by the respondent no.3, to the petitioners. No costs. JUDGE JUDGE Gulande
