CORAM : A.S. CHANDURKAR J.

DATE : MARCH 06 , 2020 .

Heard.

By order dated 15.02.2019 while dismissing C.A.F. No.680 of 2019, the appellants were directed to deposit amount of Rs.5,70,720/- which is the amount of compensation awarded by the Commissioner. It is seen that the aforesaid amount has been duly deposited by the appellants.

According to the claimants, since the appeal is not accmopanied by any certificate issued by the Commissioner as required by Section 30(1) of the Employees' Compensation Act, 1923, the appeal is liable to be dismissed.

That question can be urged when the appeal is taken up for hearing. At this stage, it may only be observed that in terms of the order dated 15.02.2019 the amount as directed to be deposited has been so deposited.

It is open for the respondents to oppose the appeal on all grounds. The civil application is disposed of. (A.S. CHANDURKAR, J.) APTE
