The parties have arrived at consensus, which is reflected from the letter dated 17/01/2024 filed along with the pursis dated 19/01/2024 by the respondent No. 1 and the affidavit dated 18/01/2024 of the petitioner, under which the expulsion of the petitioner from the Ph.D. course by the respondents, by the order dated 04/03/2022 (pg 44) and the rejection of his appeal by the Executive Council in its meeting dated 09/11/2022 (pg 104) has been agreed to be revoked by them in view of the unconditional apology by the petitioner, which is reflected in the affidavit dated 18/01/2024. In view of the affidavit dated 18/01/2024, by the petitioner, such an unconditional apology shall also be published by the petitioner in the local newspaper - 'Daily Lokmat' and 'Dainik Bhaskar' published from Wardha, which publication shall be done within a week from today. The petitioner in addition to the
(2) 41 wp 2407-2023 same would also published an apology to the vice chancellor, on his face book post, which shall be done on 22/01/2024. In addition to the above, the petitioner under his signature shall post an unconditional apology on 22/01/2024 on the notice board of the University. The petitioner shall also be bound by what has been stated in his affidavit dated 18/01/2024. 2.
The pursis dated 19/01/2024 by the respondent No. 1 is taken on record and marked as 'X'. The affidavit by the petitioner dated 18/01/2024 is taken on record and marked as 'Y'. The petition is therefore disposed of in the above terms and the aforesaid order dated 04/03/2022 (page 44) and the resolution dated 09/11/2022 (page 104), are hereby quashed and set aside, subject to the petitioner adhering to what has been stated in his affidavit dated 18/01/2024 and the publication of the apology on the notice board of University on 22/01/2024.
