Hearing was conducted through video conferencing and the learned counsel agreed that the audio and video quality was proper.

The challenge raised in the present writ petition is to the order of suspension dated 06.08.2020 thereby suspending the services of the petitioner pending departmental enquiry. Though the petitioner has sought to challenge the order of suspension on various counts including breach of principles of natural justice, we find that disciplinary proceedings initiated by the respondent nos. 1 and 2 against the petitioner have commenced. On behalf of the respondent nos. 1 and 2 affidavit in reply has been filed. In paragraph 1 thereof, it has been stated that subject to petitioner co-operating in the departmental enquiry, the same shall be completed expeditiously. In that view of the matter, we are not inclined to interfere at this stage of the proceedings wherein the order of suspension is under challenge. Keeping all challenges open for being raised at the conclusion of the enquiry if the occasion arises and by accepting the statement made on behalf of the respondent
